大陆化学风化与环境演变  

同位素是示踪表生过程及探索其机理的重要研究手段。本研究方向主要利用同位素手段研究大陆风化作用的调控机制,重建大陆风化历史,探索大陆风化与构造及气候的相互作用机理,揭示大陆风化驱动全球气候变化和维持地球宜居性的机制。 

下设三个研究分室: 

1. 临界地貌区剥蚀与风化研究室 

2. 构造稳定区风化与地貌演化研究室 

3. 钨地球化学循环研究室 

Isotope is an important method to trace the surface geochemical processes and explore their mechanisms. Using isotope methods, the researches could reveal the controlling mechanisms of continental weathering, recover the history of continental weathering, explore the interaction mechanisms between continental weathering, tectonics and climate, and ultimately, aim to uncover the regime of continental weathering forcing global climate change and maintaining the earth’s habitability. 

The main aspects of this research are as follows: 

1. Erosion and weathering in threshold landscapes; 

2. Chemical weathering and geomorphic evolution in tectonic-steady area; 

3. Tungsten geochemical cycle.
