碳封存地球化学    

CO2作为一种主要的温室气候,对全球气候有着重要的影响。由人类活动引起的大气CO2含量的增加和全球变暖已成为二十一世纪国际社会关注的热点,也是科学研究的前沿。本方向针对我国碳减排的压力和需求,以深入研究碳循环的自然过程为契入点,寻找和研发适合我国国情的二氧化碳封存方法和技术,建立具有自主知识产权的二氧化碳封存研究体系,服务于应对全球变化的国家战略。下设两个研究分室:   

1.地质碳汇研究室   

2CO2矿物封存技术研究室   

  

Geochemistry of carbon sequestration  

Atmospheric CO2 has important influence on the global climate as a main greenhouse gas. Increasing concentration of atmospheric CO2 and the associated global warming resulted from anthropogenic activities has become great concerns of the international community and the frontier of scientific research in 21st century. This branch focuses on the carbon emission reduction of our nation, aims to develop methods and technology accommodated to the national circumstances in sequestrating CO2 through investigating the natural process of carbon cycle, and finally build up a scientific research system with proprietary intellectual property rights. The research of carbon cycle in our lab includes two sections: 

1. The geologic carbon sinks institution 

2. Geological carbon sequestration technique institution
